| Michael's craft store When: Every Saturday What: kids crafts from 10:00 - 12:00 (you can drop in anytime within that time frame). The crafts cost $2 a child and are for ages 5 - 12. The crafts usually take 20 - 30 minutes, during that time parents can shop (they ask that you do not leave the store) and they will call you over the intercom when they are finished. Where: At the new Michael's craft store in Longview. (They have a calendar that tells you the craft schedule for the month.) |
| "2-buck Tuesdays" at the Oregon Zoo The Oregon Zoo offers discounted admission on the second Tuesday of every month. On "2-Buck Tuesdays" guests can tour the zoo during regular zoo hours for the discounted price of $2 per person! Children under three years of age will, as always, be admitted free of charge. | FREE work shops Location: The Home Depot in Longview Date: first Saturday of every month Time: 9am The Home Depot provides the material to a craft, example a bird house. After building you would need to purchase anything you want to add to you project. The work shops are generally a half hour long and they have no limitation to age. You are responsible for your own children. It sounds like a great time to get the boys and men together for a fathers son day! |
